What's included

One SRAM PowerLock connector (one quick link)

Not included: A chain or a chain tool. A PowerLock is single-use. Set it so the arrow on the outer plate points in the direction the chain travels, then close it by hand. Lock it with a firm pedal stroke while you hold the rear brake, until it clicks. To open it later you need master-link pliers, and you join the chain with a fresh PowerLock each time.

Confirm before ordering

SRAM's three 12-speed chain families each use a different PowerLock, and they do not interchange. Check the stamp on the connector and on your chain: this one is T-TYPE. If you are not sure which chain you have, ask your bike mechanic or Hammer & Howl before ordering.
