Overview

The Garbaruk 13-speed Gen 2.0 cassette increases a SRAM XPLR gravel drivetrain's range to 10-52T at only 343g. That is a 520% gear range, substantially wider than the 10-46T that a stock SRAM XPLR group runs. You keep a 10-tooth top cog for road speed and gain a 52-tooth cog for loaded climbing. When substantial range is needed in a 1x system, this is a highly effective upgrade.

The largest cog is 7075-T651 aluminum and is replaceable; the rest are Chromoly steel CNC-milled from a single block. Garbaruk's Gen 2.0 cassettes update the tooth profiles and shift ramps for cleaner shifts under load. The large cog comes in eight anodized colors to match Garbaruk's cages and pulleys, which are sold separately.

  • Running this 10-52T cassette requires the Garbaruk rear derailleur cage for SRAM XPLR 13-speed on all of the following derailleurs:
  • SRAM RED XPLR AXS (RD-RED-1E-E1)
  • SRAM Force XPLR AXS (RD-FRC-1E-E1)
  • SRAM Rival XPLR AXS (RD-RIV-1E-E1)
  • Confirm your derailleur before ordering.

Freehub

  • Mounts on a SRAM XD driver body. Ships with a 1.8mm spacer for installation on a SRAM XDR driver body.
  • Not compatible with Shimano Micro Spline (MS) or Shimano HyperGlide (HG) freehubs.

Chain

  • Requires a SRAM Flattop 12/13-speed chain, the chain SRAM XPLR 13-speed groups already use.
