This Garbaruk Rear Derailleur Cage replaces the stock cage on a SRAM XPLR 13-speed derailleur. It is machined from 7075-T651 aluminum, weighs 48g, and is color anodized, available in eight colors. Garbaruk lists it as required on the SRAM RED XPLR derailleur for a 10-52T cassette and optional on the Force XPLR and Rival XPLR derailleurs. Hammer & Howl recommends it for all three.

SRAM's official maximum for these derailleurs is a 46-tooth cog with the stock cage. Garbaruk lists this cage as required on the RED XPLR derailleur for the 10-52T Garbaruk 13-Speed Gen 2.0 XPLR Cassette for SRAM XD/XDR and optional on the Force XPLR and Rival XPLR derailleurs. Using the stock cage and pulleys on the Force XPLR or Rival XPLR derailleur instead requires installing a pulley bearing cover and removing the cage's plastic cover. The pulley bearing cover is included with the cassette, not with this cage. Results with that setup have been mixed. Hammer & Howl recommends this cage on all three derailleurs to ensure compatibility and full 10-52T capacity.

What would I need this cage for?

To use Garbaruk's widest XPLR cassette, for an easier climbing gear. Your stock SRAM XPLR cage tops out at a 46-tooth cog, so this cage lets a SRAM XPLR derailleur use the 10-52T Garbaruk 13-Speed Gen 2.0 XPLR Cassette for SRAM XD/XDR, sold separately. It is machined from 7075-T651 aluminum and color anodized in eight colors.

Can I use this cage with a smaller cassette too?

Yes. The cage supports cassettes up to a 52-tooth cog, so you can keep it on and use a smaller cassette too, for example when you swap wheels. Have your mechanic set the chain length for the largest cassette you plan to use. Does this cage need new pulley wheels?

No. It works with your derailleur's original pulley wheels and pulley bolts, so there is no need to buy new pulleys. If you would rather change them, the Garbaruk Rear Derailleur Pulleys for SRAM XPLR 13-Speed are an option.
