Why we love it
We love that one chainring line covers a 30-tooth mountain gear and a 52-tooth road gear on the same crank.
- 01The narrow-wide tooth profile alternates thick and thin teeth to hold the chain on a single-chainring drivetrain, so no chain guide is needed.
- 02It is machined in Italy from 7075-T6 aluminum, and the weights stay low across the range, from 71 g at 30T to 162 g at 52T.
- 03It takes 11-speed, 12-speed, and 13-speed chains, so the same ring carries across a drivetrain change.

Confirm before ordering
This is a direct-mount chainring, so it fits Ingrid cranks only. Chainline follows the spindle in your crank: 49.5 mm with the L131, 52 mm with the L136, and 54.5 mm with the L141.
Questions
It is out of stock. Can I still get one?
Not today, but you can ask Hammer & Howl for it. Ingrid makes this ring in ten tooth counts from 30T to 52T, in Black, Silver, and Hard Anodized. Tell us the tooth count and finish you want, and we will work on bringing it in.
Will it fit a crank from another brand?
No. This is a direct-mount chainring made for the Ingrid crank interface, and Ingrid states it is compatible only with Ingrid cranksets. To use chainrings from other makers on an Ingrid crank, fit the Ingrid 110x5 BCD Spider instead.
Which chainline will I get?
It follows the spindle in your crank: 49.5 mm with the L131, 52 mm with the L136, and 54.5 mm with the L141. Check which spindle your crank was built with before choosing a tooth count.
Do I need a chain guide?
No. The narrow-wide profile alternates thick and thin teeth so the chain seats deeply and stays on. That is what the profile is for on a single-chainring drivetrain.
How is this different from the Aero chainring?
The Ingrid Aero Direct-Mount Chainring uses an aero shape and starts at 38T; this one is the round shape and starts at 30T. The round ring is also lighter at every shared tooth count.
