Overview

This Garbaruk Rear Derailleur Cage replaces the stock cage on a single-chainring (1x) SRAM 11-speed or 12-speed Eagle derailleur. It is machined from 7075-T651 aluminum, weighs 46g, and is color anodized, available in eight colors. This cage enables the use of Garbaruk's extended range cassettes with large cogs up to 52T.

This cage is for 1x drivetrains only. It supports cassettes up to 50T on 11-speed drivetrains and up to 52T on 12-speed drivetrains, such as the Garbaruk 12-Speed Cassette for SRAM XD.

What would I need this cage for?

To use a larger cassette than your derailleur's stock cage allows, for an easier climbing gear. This cage supports cogs up to 50T on a SRAM 1x 11-speed derailleur and up to 52T on a 12-speed Eagle derailleur. One example is the Garbaruk 12-Speed Cassette for SRAM XD, sold separately. It is machined from 7075-T651 aluminum and color anodized in eight colors.

Can I use this cage with a smaller cassette too?

Yes. The cage supports cassettes up to 50T on 11-speed or 52T on 12-speed. You can keep it on and use a smaller cassette too, for example when you swap wheels. Have your mechanic set the chain length for the largest cassette you plan to use. If you are pairing two very different cassettes, see the Will it fit section or contact Hammer & Howl to confirm before ordering.

Will this cage fit my SRAM AXS derailleur?

Yes, if it is a SRAM Eagle AXS derailleur, which is the 12-speed mountain bike group. It does not fit SRAM AXS Road or eTap. See the Specifications and Will it fit sections for the full list of compatible derailleurs before ordering.

Can I reuse my pulley wheels?

Yes. You can keep your derailleur's original pulley wheels and pulley bolts, so there is no need to buy new ones to use the cage.
