Confirm before ordering
This kit fits SRAM 12-speed AXS road and XPLR derailleurs. It replaces the stock cage and pulleys so the derailleur can wrap a larger cassette, up to a 50-tooth cog. One example is the Garbaruk 12-Speed Gen 2.0 Gravel Cassette for SRAM XD/XDR in 10-48T or 10-50T. Garbaruk's own G-link extender is used on all of these derailleurs except the Apex XPLR, which does not need it. Although Garbaruk names this kit for Force, it fits SRAM RED and Rival AXS derailleurs equally.
Questions
What would I need this kit for?
To use a larger cassette than your SRAM AXS road or gravel derailleur's stock cage allows, for an easier climbing gear. The kit's longer cage and matching pulleys let the derailleur wrap a bigger cassette. One example is the Garbaruk 12-Speed Gen 2.0 Gravel Cassette for SRAM XD/XDR, sold separately.
Does this kit only fit SRAM Force?
No. Although Garbaruk names it for Force, it fits SRAM RED and Rival AXS derailleurs equally, across the 12-speed eTap AXS road and XPLR gravel groups. See the Will it fit section for the full list of compatible derailleurs.
What is the G-link for?
It is Garbaruk's own small extender link, and it comes in the box. The kit uses it on the SRAM AXS road and XPLR derailleurs it fits, except the Apex XPLR derailleur, which does not need it. The G-link lets the longer cage index correctly on those derailleurs.
Can I choose the pulley color?
Yes. The cage is black, and you select the color of the color anodized aluminum pulleys from eight options.
