The YBN SLA212 is a 12-speed chain made from titanium. It comes in 126 links, finished in gold, and it is the lightweight option in a 12-speed drivetrain. YBN builds it with hollow pins and cut-out side plates to remove material where the chain does not need it. It ships with two quick-release master links.

Check whether your drivetrain is SRAM Eagle Transmission (T-Type), which this chain does not fit. If you are not sure what your bike has, ask your bike mechanic. To have the fit confirmed against your own cassette and chainring, contact Hammer & Howl before ordering.

This chain is not compatible with SRAM Eagle Transmission, also called T-Type. That covers the GX, X0, XX, and XX SL Transmission drivetrains, which use SRAM's own flattop chain.

Beyond that exclusion, confirm the chain against your specific drivetrain before ordering rather than assuming it fits. Hammer & Howl will confirm it with you.

What is a titanium chain for?

It is the lightweight option. Titanium is lighter than the steel a normal chain is made from, and no mainstream drivetrain maker offers a chain in it.

How many links does it come with?

126 links, which covers most 12-speed setups. Size it to your own drivetrain and remove the links you do not need.

Does it come with a master link?

Yes, two quick-release master links. One joins the chain and the second is a spare.

Will it fit my 12-speed drivetrain?
