Confirm before ordering
This cage replaces the stock cage on the SRAM Eagle Transmission derailleurs listed above. It uses the derailleur's stock pulleys and pulley bolts, or the Garbaruk Rear Derailleur Pulleys for SRAM in the 14T + 16T set, sold separately. If you need replacement bolts, the Garbaruk Derailleur Pulley Bolt Set is sold separately.
Questions
What would I need this cage for?
For its looks and finish, plus the option of larger pulleys. Your SRAM Eagle Transmission derailleur already works with its stock cage, and this cage does not change your gear range or shifting. It replaces the stock cage with one machined from 7075-T651 aluminum and color anodized in eight colors, a way to add color to your drivetrain. You can also fit larger pulleys, the Garbaruk Rear Derailleur Pulleys for SRAM in the 14-tooth and 16-tooth set, sold separately.
Can I use this cage with a smaller cassette too?
Yes. This cage does not change what your derailleur supports, so it works with any cassette your Eagle Transmission derailleur already handles. You can keep it on when you swap wheels or cassettes.
Will this cage fit my derailleur?
Yes, if it is a SRAM Eagle Transmission (T-Type) derailleur, such as GX, X0, XX, XX SL, S1000, or Eagle 90. It does not fit SRAM Eagle 12-speed mechanical or AXS, SRAM XPLR, SRAM AXS road or eTap, or Shimano. See the Specifications and Will it fit sections for the full list of compatible derailleurs before ordering.
Can I reuse my pulley wheels?
Yes. You can keep your derailleur's stock pulley wheels and pulley bolts, so there is no need to buy new ones to use the cage. If you want larger pulleys, the Garbaruk Rear Derailleur Pulleys for SRAM in the 14-tooth and 16-tooth set are an option.
