Not included: A derailleur or thru-axle. The hanger replaces your frame's UDH hanger. You use your existing rear derailleur and thru-axle. For a lighter, colored bolt, the Carbon-Ti X-Bolt UDH is the matching upgrade.

  • Road, gravel, mountain, triathlon, and time trial frames built to the UDH standard
  • Thru-axles with an M12x1.00 mm thread (the UDH standard)

Not compatible with

  • Frames that use a brand-specific or older bolt-on derailleur hanger, not the UDH standard
  • Frames with no replaceable hanger, where the derailleur mounts directly to the frame

Confirm before ordering

Check that your frame is designed for a UDH hanger; most brands state this in the frame spec or hanger guide. If you are not sure, confirm with your bike mechanic or contact Hammer & Howl before ordering.

The X-Hanger UDH fits one thing: a frame built for the UDH standard. UDH is a single, shared hanger shape used across many brands, so there is no per-bike hanger to look up. If your frame is designed for a UDH hanger, this replaces it directly and uses an M12x1.00 mm thru-axle. If your frame uses a brand-specific bolt-on hanger instead, this will not fit.
