Carbon-Ti X-Hanger UDHDerailleur hangerOverview
Why we love it
We love that removing one small link makes a Shimano rear derailleur shift crisper and shed a little weight.
- 01It takes out the derailleur B-link and bolts the derailleur straight to the frame, for a stiffer, more direct link.
- 02That stiffer link sharpens shifting and makes the rear wheel easier to drop in and out.
- 03It is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and color anodized, so it saves weight and looks the part at the dropout.

Confirm before ordering
This is a direct-mount hanger, so it does two jobs at once. It replaces your UDH hanger, and it removes the B-link from a Shimano rear derailleur so the derailleur mounts straight to the frame. It fits a frame built for the UDH standard, used with a Shimano rear derailleur that has a removable B-link. That covers the current Dura-Ace, Ultegra, and 105 families. It uses an M12x1.00 mm thru-axle. If you use a SRAM derailleur, or a Shimano derailleur without a removable B-link, choose the standard Carbon-Ti X-Hanger UDH instead.
Questions
Which Shimano derailleurs does this fit?
It fits Shimano rear derailleurs that have a removable B-link, which covers the current Dura-Ace, Ultegra, and 105 families. Removing the B-link is what lets the derailleur mount straight to the frame. If your Shimano derailleur does not have a removable B-link, this is not the right hanger.
What does removing the B-link do?
The B-link is the small extra link between the hanger and the derailleur body. Taking it out mounts the derailleur straight to the frame, for a stiffer link. The result is crisper shifting, a little less weight, and a rear wheel that is easier to remove and refit.
Will it fit a SRAM derailleur?
No. This direct-mount hanger is shaped for a Shimano rear derailleur with a removable B-link. For a SRAM derailleur, or any setup that keeps a standard hanger, choose the Carbon-Ti X-Hanger UDH instead.
Does it come with a bolt?
No. The X-Hanger DM DA9200 does not include a UDH bolt. You reuse your frame's UDH bolt, or fit the Carbon-Ti X-Bolt UDH as a lighter replacement. It uses the standard M12x1.00 mm UDH bolt.
Does my frame need to be UDH?
Yes. Like the standard UDH hanger, this fits only a frame built for the UDH standard. It then replaces the UDH hanger and removes the Shimano B-link. Check your frame spec for UDH before ordering.
What happens in a crash?
The hanger is designed to break at a set point in a hard crash or impact, so that it gives way before your frame does. That is standard, protective behavior for a quality hanger, and a spare is worth keeping.
