Overview

The Carbon-Ti X-Bolt UDH is a superlight replacement bolt for a UDH derailleur hanger. It is CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, with a left-hand thread and a hollow M12x1.00 mm center for the thru-axle to pass through. It fits the Carbon-Ti UDH hangers and can replace the stock bolt on a SRAM UDH hanger. It is made in Matte Black.

Does the thru-axle still go through it?

Yes. The bolt has a hollow M12x1.00 mm center, so your M12x1.00 mm thru-axle passes through it as normal. The left-hand thread is part of the UDH design.

What color is it?

Matte Black. It is the only finish Hammer & Howl carries for this bolt.

Is it strong enough in aluminum?

Yes. It is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, a high-strength alloy Carbon-Ti uses across its parts, and it is made to the UDH bolt design. Fit it to your frame maker's torque figure. If you prefer a steel bolt, keep the one your hanger or frame came with.
