Carbon-TiX-Rotor Aero X-AFS
- road
Overview
Why we love it
We love a rotor built to cut drag that also fits a Campagnolo or Fulcrum wheel built for AFS.
- 01Its carbon body is shaped in the wind tunnel to slip through the air, and it keeps the same stainless steel braking track as the SteelCarbon 3.
- 02The steel braking surface is built to shed heat efficiently and wear the pads evenly.
- 03It was developed to meet the needs of the UAE Team Emirates World Tour team for time trials and high-speed road races, and professional riders have raced the X-Rotor Aero in competition.

What's included
- One Carbon-Ti X-Rotor Aero X-AFS rotor
- Its Al7075 AFS adapter and Grade 5 titanium protection plate
- One Grade 5 titanium AFS lockring, laser etched
Will it fit your bike?
Compatible with
- Campagnolo and Fulcrum wheels and hubs built for the AFS disc mount, on road, time trial, and triathlon bikes
- AFS hubs built for 12, 15, or 20mm thru-axles (the low-profile AFS lockring suits all three)
- Rotor sizes 140mm and 160mm, so you can match the size your bike is built for
Not compatible with
- Center Lock hubs (choose the Carbon-Ti X-Rotor Aero Center Lock instead)
- 6-bolt hubs (choose the Carbon-Ti X-Rotor Aero 6-Bolt instead)
- A rotor size your brake calipers are not set up for, without the correct caliper adapter
Confirm before ordering
Two things decide fit: the mount and the size. Your wheels need the Campagnolo and Fulcrum AFS disc mount, and the rotor size you select must match what your frame, fork, and brake calipers are built for.
Moving to a bigger or smaller rotor can need a different caliper mount adapter.
The rotor comes with the Al7075 adapter and the AFS lockring it needs, so no separate adapter kit is required.
Questions
Will these fit my Campagnolo or Fulcrum wheels?
Yes, if your wheels are built for the AFS disc mount. This is an AFS rotor, and it comes with its own Al7075 adapter and a Grade 5 titanium AFS lockring, so it is ready to fit.
What is the AFS disc mount?
It is a rotor mounting standard used on some Campagnolo and Fulcrum disc wheels and hubs. It is neither Center Lock nor 6-bolt, so it takes an AFS rotor. Check your wheel's specification to confirm the AFS mount before ordering.
What rotor size should I choose?
Match the size your frame, fork, and brake calipers are built for, usually 140mm or 160mm. Moving to a different size can need a different caliper mount adapter, so check your setup or ask your mechanic.
Does it come with a lockring?
Yes. It comes with a Grade 5 titanium lockring made for AFS hubs, along with its Al7075 adapter and a Grade 5 titanium protection plate.
Is the Aero heavier than the SteelCarbon 3?
Yes. The aerodynamic carbon body adds some weight, which the Aero trades for lower drag at speed. Braking is the same, since the steel track is shared.
Can I use it on a Center Lock or 6-bolt hub?
No. This rotor is made for the AFS disc mount only. For a Center Lock hub choose the Carbon-Ti X-Rotor Aero Center Lock, and for a 6-bolt hub choose the Carbon-Ti X-Rotor Aero 6-Bolt.
Are these UCI approved?
Yes, they comply with UCI regulations. The disc profile has rounded, CNC-machined edges.
