Overview

This Carbon-Ti X-Lock EVO is a front thru axle for road forks that take a 12mm axle with an M12x1.0 thread and a 117mm length. It is machined in Italy from 7075-T6 aluminum with a conical head, and it weighs 22.5 g. It is color anodized, in the color you select.

Why we love it

We love how much refinement Carbon-Ti packs into a part most riders never think about.

  • 01At 22.5 g it is a genuinely light axle, machined with a variable wall thickness that keeps weight down without giving up stiffness.
  • 02The color anodized finish and laser etched graphics make it a detail worth seeing every time you look down at your front wheel.
Why it makes the cut. Hammer & Howl only carries parts we believe are among the best in the business. This axle is a well-made upgrade for a fork that deserves better than stock hardware.

Confirm before ordering

If you are not sure this axle matches your fork, confirm with your bike mechanic or contact Hammer & Howl before ordering.

A thru axle must match your fork in diameter, thread pitch, length, and head shape. The simplest check is to remove your original axle and compare its stamped size and length, or ask your fork’s manufacturer for the specification.
